Our Mission

At Aikyam, we believe in more than just fashion—we’re here to help people reconnect with their roots, inspire curiosity, and spark meaningful conversations through minimalistic designs rooted in Indian symbols and stories.

Our mission is to remind everyone that life is not about the destination, but the journey we take to get there.

We’re Not Like Any Other Brand

At Aikyam, our logo isn’t just a design—it’s a reflection of your personal journey. The journey that’s unique to you, with its own ups and downs, challenges, and triumphs. Each time you wear Aikyam, it’s a subtle reminder to keep moving forward.

  • The Start Point

The base of the logo marks where your journey begins. It symbolizes the start of the climb, like standing at the foot of a mountain, ready to face the challenges ahead.

  • Life's Ups and Downs

The three uneven lines are the twists and turns we all face. Life’s highs and lows are inevitable, but they remind us that moving forward is what matters most, even when the path seems unpredictable.

  • The Pinnacle

At the peak of the logo is where Aikyam reveals its meaning—oneness, unity, and harmony. It’s not just about reaching the top; it’s about connecting with yourself, your surroundings, and the world, wherever your journey leads.

My Story - Yash

My family and I moved to Canada when I was 4-years old.

Growing up, my parents tried to keep me connected to my culture and roots, through enrolling me in a Saturday language school, celebrating traditional festivals, sharing stories of what they used to do and much more. My passion, curiosity and admiration for my cultural roots stemmed greatly from my childhood.

When university began, I had to move out. I didn’t think much at first but as time progressed, I got swept away in university and eventually lost touch with my roots, culture and ultimately, myself. What helped me stabilize and ground myself was joining a cultural club and participating in various events throughout the year.

Eventually, in my final year of university, I became the president of that very cultural club and focused my efforts on trying to bring students together and foster a sense of community and connection.

Since then, I have graduated from university; however, I hear and notice the same disconnect in various students and youth groups. It was this understanding and feeling that led to the creation of Aikyam with a core focus of connecting people with themselves, others and their heritage.

We’re so excited to have you join us on this journey :)
